Having racked up the sales of more than 9million albums and 30million singles, David Guetta has more than earned his status as ‘superstar producer’. Parisian by birth, he released his debut album, Just a Little More Love, in 2002. Since then, he has gone on to produce music for some of the world’s biggest stars, including Lady Gaga, Britney Spears and Sia.
However, it wasn’t until 2009 and the release of his fourth album, One Love, that Guetta received international attention. The lead single, When Love Takes Over, was fronted by Kelly Rowland and topped the charts in various countries across the planet. His subsequent work with The Black Eyed Peas earned him two nominations at the Grammy Awards, and the song became the most-downloaded in the USA.
Guetta continues to record and produce. His most recent work, 7, bridges the gap between electronic dance music and underground techno.
