Named after lead singer Rou Reynolds’ uncle’s boat, Enter Shikari was formed in 2003 by Reynolds, Chris Batten, Rob Rolfe, and Rory Clewlow. An eclectic fusion of heavy-rock riffs, electronic music and catchy pop melodies, they released three demo Eps, before their first album, Take to the Skies.
In 2005, Alex Baker of Kerrang! Radio streamed their track, OK Time For Plan B, from the band’s website, straight to his listeners. Within a year, Enter Shikari had achieved the iTunes Single of the Week, with Mothership, and became the second unsigned band to sell out at the London Astoria.
With five albums under their belt, Enter Shikari is showing no signs of slowing.
Our collection of Enter Shikari images features pictures of the band in full swing at the Big Day Out Melbourne in 2008. Whether it’s for yourself or a friend, check out our range of Enter Shikari posters, today.
