Undoubtedly one of the most influential rock ‘n’ roll outfits in history, there’s barely a band on the planet that doesn’t owe something to the Fab Four.
After a string of gigs in Liverpool their then-manager, Allan Williams, packed them off to Hamburg to learn their craft. After playing more than 250 concerts between 1960 and 1962, the Beatles returned home to spearhead the burgeoning Merseybeat scene. A gig at the legendary Cavern Club saw the group signed up by Brian Epstein and release their first single, Love Me Do. The rest, as they say, is history.
Beatlemania swept the UK and the Fab Four swiftly added America to their list of conquests. After 12 albums, 13 Eps and 22 singles, the band split in 1970, but their legacy remains indelible.
Our collection of Beatles pictures contains images from their Mop Top days to the swirling psychedelia of the late ‘60s. An ideal gift for any Beatles fan.
