Born in Sweden, Zara Larsson has a knack for creating electro-pop tunes that are brimming with soul. Often compared to the likes of Lorde and Rihanna, she first found the spotlight after entering a Swedish TV talent show. By 2012, she had taken the Netherlands by storm, after the release of her debut EP, Introducing.
It was her second album, So Good, that propelled her to international stardom. A barrage of singles, including Lush Life, So Good and I Would Like, all charged into the UK Top 20, while Symphony raced to the top of the charts.
In 2019, she played to a sell-out crowd at London’s Brixton Academy. As a live act Larsson manages to combine Cola-worthy fizziness with wry, Nordic humour to create a show that’s both uplifting and introspective. Blessed with a soaring, childlike voice, she’s a serious contender for the title, Princess of Pop.
